Raphael Louis, more commonly known as Ray, is a seasoned litigation lawyer in Singapore with a focused practice in criminal defence, family law, and personal injury claims. He has appeared extensively before the State Courts, High Court, and Court of Appeal, acting for individuals facing complex, high-stakes, and often deeply personal legal issues.

Ray is consistently recognised for his professionalism and clear, strategic advice. His commitment to pro bono and volunteer legal work spans more than a decade.

In recognition of this service, Ray has been awarded a Long Service Award by the Chief Justice for his sustained contribution to access to justice in Singapore.

Education and Public Engagement

Ray is also committed to legal education and thought leadership. He was formerly an adjunct lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic and currently lectures at the Executive Counselling and Training Academy, teaching Law and Counselling to students pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counselling awarded by Flinders University, Australia.

He has delivered talks on Singapore criminal procedure to international schools and has acted as a legal consultant on legal issues for Mediacorp television productions.
